physically wired in parallel with the male XLR output. The jack input of the Combo
connector provide an automatic padding of 20 dB and it is physically wired in parallel
with the jack output.

2.2 The MAIN input

A Stereo MAIN input allows you to manage a stereo signal. A level control knob permits
to decide the right amount of the source signal of this input in the master mix. The main
input has a balanced circuit that allows you to connect directly both balanced and
unbalanced signals. It is also possible to insert a high quality audio transformer both for
the left and for the right input and to lift the ground wiring; all these functions are
accessible via the top cover of the unit. A MUTE function switch allows switching on/off
the source signal without moving the level control knob.

2.3 The additional AUX1 and AUX2 inputs

The PMS unit is equipped with three independent AUX inputs. Also the Aux inputs have
a balanced circuit that allows you to connect directly both balanced and unbalanced
signals. The Aux inputs allow for adding further audio signals to the main signal. The
musician can therefore control the volume of his/her own instrument in the master
playback signal as desired. This built-in mix function supersedes the external monitor
mixer required up to now. For the same reason you can add a click signal on the master
playback signal and you can manage both the levels of the two sources, as you desire.
The AUX1 and AUX2 inputs have the possibility to insert a high quality audio
transformer and to lift the ground wiring; both these functions are accessible via the top
cover of the unit. A level control knob for each AUX inputs allows determining the right
amount of signal and a MUTE function switch to switch on/off the source signal without
moving the level control knob. The AUX1 has also a PAN-POT control knob that allows
deciding the position of the AUX1 signal in the stereo field.

2.4 The AUX3 input

The PMS unit has also an AUX3 input provided with a balanced ¼“ jack input and a
level control knob.

2.5 The HEADPHONE output

The PMS unit has an HEADPHONE ¼” jack output on the front panel on which it is
possible to connect mono or stereo Headphones from 32 to 600 ohm as well as a
parallel of many headphones or a single (mono wiring) or a couple (stereo wiring) of
self-powered stage monitor units.
