5. GENERAL MAINTENANCE
When To Replace
WARNING - Risk of personal injury - brushroll may suddenly restart - unplug before cleaning or servicing.
When brushroll brushes are worn, it should be replaced.
HOW TO REPLACE
BRUSHROLL
5.10 Align new brushroll
and belt.
5.11 Replace brushroll.
5.12 Replace bottom
plate and screws.
HOW TO REMOVE
BRUSHROLL
5.7 Turn cleaner over
and remove 5
screws as is
indicated by arrows.
5.8 Remove bottom
plate.
5.9 Remove brushroll.

edge of a card across
bottom plate while turn-
ing brushroll (Fig. 5.6).
To maintain cleaning
effectiveness, replace
brushroll if brushes do
not touch card.
