Room Considerations

Determine the A/V requirements for the room. Extron provides a complete range of AAPs that can be purchased

separately to provide fully customizable central connectivity.
Select the best configuration for existing furniture, equipment, cables and the AVTrac. It may help to mark the position

of the track using a marker pen or tape.
The connectivity box must be positioned under a podium or table to avoid creating a tripping hazard. AVTrac can be

cut to meet the needs of the room. (For further details, see step 1-4 on page 8.)
Optional track component extension kits are also available.

ADA Compliance

The maximum slope of the AVTrac is 4.5°, which fully complies with ADA requirements. Refer to Title III, Regulation 28

Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 36: ADA Standards for Accessible Design; Section 4.8: Ramps

for full details.

Ramps Requirement

The maximum slope of a ramp shall be 1:12 ratio (1 inch rise for each 12 inches run, approximately 4.8°).

4.5°

The AVTrac maximum slope is 4.5°, which meets ADA requirements.
