BEWARE OF EXHAUST FUMES

ƒ

Prevent asphyxiation. Engine exhaust fumes can
cause sickness or death.

ƒ

If you must operate in a building, be sure there is
adequate ventilation. Either use an exhaust pipe
extension to remove the exhaust fumes or open
doors and windows to bring in enough outside air
into the area.

KEEP RIDERS OFF MACHINE

ƒ

Only allow the operator on the machine. Keep
riders off.

ƒ

Riders on machine are subject to injury such as
being struck by foreign objects and being thrown
off of the machine.

ƒ

Riders also obstruct the operator’s view, resulting
in the machine being operated in an unsafe man-
ner.

HANDLE FUEL SAFELY - AVOID FIRES

ƒ

Handle fuel with care, it is highly flammable. Do
not refuel machine while smoking or when near
open flame or sparks.

ƒ

Always stop engine before refueling machine. Do
not fill fuel tank inside any building structure. Al-
ways attempt to refuel in the out of doors.
