DAILY INSPECTION
Mower Inspection
Check blades for cracks or damage. Replace if necessary.
Check blade mounting hardware for proper torque. Tighten hardware to 125-140 ft.-lbs. (170-190 Nm) torque.
Check mower deck and shields. Repair if damaged or replace if necessary.
Check for damaged of missing decals. Replace if necessary.
Clean debris, leaves and flammable material from the deck area and under covers.
Lubricate all grease points. See page 34.
Check blade belt for condition or wear. Adjust and replace if necessary.
Check side discharge deflector. replace if missing or damaged.
Mower Mounting Frame
Inspect the mounting flange (Item 1) and all welds on the
attachment for wear or damage each time the attachment is
removed from the machine.
Inspect the input shaft and PTO driveline (Item 2) for damage.
Inspect the mounting pin bushings (Item 3) for damage.
Check the following items at the start of the work day:
• Check for damaged or missing decals. Replace if necessary.
• Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.
PTO Driveline
Inspect the driveline assembly and u-joints (Item 4) for wear or
damage.
Inspect the snap ring (Item 5). Replace damaged or missing
snap rings.
