Cause and corrective measures

The gateway is not connected to the local network.

Corrective measures:

• Check whether all network cable plugs are inserted and

locked.

The voltage supply of the gateway is faulty.

Corrective measures:

• Check whether the power plug of the gateway is plugged

into the outlet.

The gateway could not be found by the Sunny Home Manager.

Corrective measures:

• Restart the gateway (see manual of the gateway).

The Sunny Home Manager and the gateway are located in
different local networks.

Corrective measures:

• Connect the gateway and the Sunny Home Manager to the

same network switch/router.

The Sunny Home Manager and the gateway are configured for
different IP subnets.

Corrective measures:

• If your router supports DHCP, configure the

Sunny Home Manager (default setting) and the gateway to
DHCP (see manual of the gateway).

• If your router does not support DHCP, manually assign IP

addresses in the same subnet for the Sunny Home Manager
and the gateway (see manual of the respective device).

• Check whether the power plug of the device is plugged into

the outlet.

The device is not connected to its gateway.

Corrective measures:

• Check whether the communication between the device and

the gateway is working. The device might be outside the
range of its gateway (e.g. with power-line communication).
