Stage Five — Configure the System
Stage 5
Items needed to help complete this stage:
•
Laptop (or PC) with a network connection
• GC 2 configuration program (download from www.extron.com)
• MLC 104 IP Plus User’s Manual
• Projector manufacturer’s user’s manual
• Device driver and/or driver package
(download from www.extron.com)
1. Configure the system
a. Download and install Extron’s Global Configurator
(GC2) configuration program (available at
www.extron.com ) on the laptop or PC
b. Ensure the laptop (or PC), and the MLC 104 IP Plus are
connected to the LAN.
N If this is not possible, connect a 2.5 mm TRS
configuration cable (part # 70-355-01) to the laptop
(or PC) and to the front panel configuration port of
the MLC 104 IP Plus.
c. Launch GC2. Click on Help, then Contents (or press F1).
