SYSTEM SETUP

In the More Audio menu the following settings can be made: Prologic,
Subwoofer, Test Tone, DRC and LPCM settings.

Prologic settings:
This unit features an integrated Dolby Prologic decoder that can give you a
virtual surround sound experience.
A.

When the disc has stopped, press

SETUP.

B.

Select and press

ENTER.

C.

Select Prologic and press

ENTER.

D.

Select the desired Prologic setting and press enter.
OFF (Default): The Dolby Prologic decoding function will
always be deactivated.
ON: Dolby Prologic will always be activated.

E.

Press SETUP to save and exit the setup menu.

Subwoofer settings:
In the setup menu it must be indicated whether a subwoofer is connected to the
system or not (indicated by the figure 1 in 5.1):
A.

When the disc has stopped, press

SETUP.

B.

Select More Audio and press

ENTER.

C.

Select Subwoofer and press

ENTER.

D.

Select the desired subwoofer setting and press

ENTER.

ON (Default): A passive or an active subwoofer is connected
to the unit for reproduction of LFE (Low Frequency Effect)
signals.
OFF: No subwoofer is connected to the unit.

E.

Press

SETUP to save and exit the setup menu.

Follow these instructions to set the analog and digital
output signals when you wish to play other audio tracks:
A. When the disc has stopped, press SETUP.
B. Select Audio and press ENTER.
C. Select Others and press ENTER.

Set Analog Out to:
5.1 Channel (Default): For Dolby Digital playback in the original format, i.e. sound
through all outputs.
2 Channel: For downmixing of a 5.1 signal, i.e. stereo sound.

E.

Set Digital Out to:
PCM (Default): For transmitting a 2-channel stereo signal through the digital
outputs (Optical/Coaxial) to e.g. a minidisc or a CD recorder.
RAW: For transmitting the raw 5.1 channel digital bitstream signal through the
digital outputs (Optical/Coaxial) to e.g. an external digital surround receiver.
Off: For deactivation of the digital outputs.

F.

Press

SETUP to save and exit the setup menu.

MP3/WMA settings
Follow these instructions to set the digital output signal
when you wish to play Mp3 tracks.
(Note: The analog format is locked to stereo):
A.

When the disc has stopped, press SETUP.

B.

Select Audio and press ENTER.

C. Select MP3 and press ENTER.
D. Set Digital out to:

PCM (default): For transmitting a 2-channel stereo
signal through the digital outputs (Optical/Coaxial)
to e.g. a minidisc or a CD recorder.

Off: For deactivation of the digital outputs.

E. Press

SETUP to save and exit the setup menu.
