Formatting the memory
All data are deleted on the storage medium
when it is formatted. When "9" is selected and
you press the centre navigation button (L), for-
matting is started without a security confirma-
tion.

Frequency
Here you select the mains frequency of your
power network to suppress the flickering of
fluorescent lights during recording. In Europe
the standard mains frequency is 50 Hz, in the
United States 60 Hz.
