Before using the device, carefully read through these op-
erating instructions and ensure you comply with the safe-
ty instructions in all respects!

This appliance should only be used for its intended pur-
pose as described in these instructions.

Do not discard these instructions.

If you pass the appliance on to someone else, please in-
clude the operating instructions.

Intended purpose

The freezer is designed to freeze food and to store frozen
goods in suitable containers (e.g. in plastic bags and in plastic
boxes that can be sealed securely). It is intended for use in
the home environment.
This appliance must not be used for industrial purposes (such
as catering and similar wholesale use), except for:
-

in staff kitchens, shops, offices or other working environ-
ments;

-

in farm houses;

-

by clients in hotels, motels or other residential type envi-
ronments;

-

in bed and breakfast type establishments.

The appliance is designed for use in enclosed areas and may
not be operated in the open air or in moisture-prone areas.

Possible misuse

The following items must not be refrigerated or frozen in the
freezer:
-

Bottle and cans, especially glass containers and vessels
containing carbon dioxide. They may crack, burst or even
explode.

-

Vessels containing inflammable materials (e.g. fuel car-
tridges, aerosols). They may leak and explode.

Warnings

If necessary, the following warnings will be used in these op-
erating instructions:

may result in injury to life and limb.
