Puree fi lter

Using the puree fi lter 9, you can prepare soups of
various consistencies:

All ingredients inside the puree fi lter 9 will
be pureed during the preparation process.
All ingredients outside the puree fi lter 9 will
not be pureed during the preparation process.

If you want the soup to be creamy and yet still
have vegetable chunks, add some of the vege-
table pieces to the puree fi lter 9. The vegetable
pieces that are not to be pureed must remain
outside the puree fi lter 9.

When the selected programme is complete,
remove the puree fi lter 9 and stir the soup
with a long spoon. This ensures that the pureed
vegetables are well-mixed into the soup and that
the soup has a creamy consistency.

TIP

You can also add fi nely chopped potatoes to
the puree fi lter 9 to thicken the soup. Here
too, you should remove the puree fi lter 9
after preparation and stir the soup.
