AV 100 Plus

AV 100 Plus

Thank you for choosing MELICONI

The AV 100 Plus allows you to transmit a video signal in wireless mode from any audio/video source (SAT
decoder, DTT decoder, DVD player, video camera or VCR) to a second television in another room of the house.
You can also control up to two appliances connected to the main TV directly from the room in which the second
TV is located using a remote control.
NB: If you want to use an appliance with the AV 100 Plus it must have a SCART socket.

The AV 100 Plus consists of a transmitter to be connected to an appliance connected to the main TV, and a

receiver to be connected to the second TV. To distinguish between them, look for the words TRANSMITTER

and RECEIVER printed on the labels on the bottom of the products.

All connections must be made using SCART cables. To view the signal from the audio/video appliance

connected to the main TV, on the second TV, install the transmitter as indicated in Fig. 1 (basic confi guration).

If there are two appliances present (for example a SKY Decoder and a DVD player) install the transmitter as
indicated in Fig. 2 (advanced confi guration).
The AV 100 Plus transmitter includes an IN/OUT SCART adaptor. This allows you to view the same audio

video signal simultaneously on the main TV and the second TV without having to change the confi guration of

the sockets.

Installation

1. Plug the IN/OUT connector directly into the SCART OUT socket on the appliance you wish to transmit the

signal from. Connect the other end of the IN/OUT connector to the SCART cable connected to the TV (fi gure 1)

2. Set the twin channel selector on the back of the transmitter to one of the 7 available positions. The 4-position

selector on the back allows you to the select the required channel (1,3,5,7 or 2,4,6,X); the 2-position selector

on the left allows you to shift from the even number channels to the odd number ones.

CAUTION: the X position does not corresponds to any channel whatsoever

3. Plug the power adaptor connector into the corresponding socket at the back of the transmitter.

4. Plug the power adaptor into an easily accessible wall socket.

5. Position the transmitter near the television but not too near the other audio video appliances as they may

create interference. We recommend a distance of approximately 50 cm.

6. Switch the transmitter on using the switch on the back and check that the green warning light on the front

comes on.

7. Turn on the appliance connected to the AV 100 Plus, start it (ON or Power for the decoder, PLAY for the

videorecorder or DVD player,) and activate the audio/video input on the main TV using the remote control

(AV or EXT button) and check that the program running on the appliance can be seen.

Then install the receiver.
