Troubleshooting

Technical specifi cations

IMPORTANT:

• Sound and picture quality may be affected by microwave ovens, other electronic wireless systems or
electromagnetic radiation. Moreover, any metal items placed between the receiver and transmitter may
inhibit signal diffusion. The AV 100 Plus transmitter operates on 5.8 GHz band frequencies and therefore
does not interfere with WI-FI devices operating on the 2.4 GHz band (BLUETOOTH, wireless LAN etc.).
The signal that the transmitter sends to the receiver passes through walls and ceilings for a distance
of about 30 metres. Anyone using AV 100 Plus or a similar device (set on the same channel) near the
apartment could receive the same programmes you are watching (and vice versa) as the transmission is
not encrypted. In this case, we recommend you set the channel selector to a different channel on both the
receiver and the transmitter.
• If you wish to use only one remote control to command the appliances connected to the main TV from the
other room (if the advanced confi guration has been chosen), MELICONI offers a wide range of universal
remote controls for all brands of TV, decoder, VCR and DVD player. Consult the website www.meliconi.
com to fi nd which one best meets your requirements.
• Switch the transmitter and receiver off if you are not using them.
