9. ELI Maintenance
Proper fifth wheel maintenance instructions
can be found in the Owner’s Manual that
came with your fifth wheel.
The Electronic Lock Indicator (ELI) requires
the following procedures at each truck
preventative maintenance interval:
1. Clean the surface of the sensors. Keep
the sensors clean of excess grease and
debris
(Figure 7).
2. Check cables for chafing, tears,
or damage.
3. Make sure the cable connections
are secure.
4. For repair or replacement, contact
