Power Save Mode

Select the standby behavior of the unit.

Options:

Standby Mode, Networked Standby Mode, Wake on Signal, Always On

Default:

Standby Mode

Standby Mode:

Achieves the lowest standby power consumption and disables LAN and

RS232 functionality while in standby. The Scheduling feature will remain functional.

Networked Standby Mode:

Supports waking the unit via Wake-on-LAN (WoL) but

disables RS232 functionality while in standby. The Scheduling feature will remain
functional.

Wake on Signal:

The unit will enter a standby mode if no signal is detected. When a

signal is restored, the unit will quickly power on and display the image. This mode
supports the full LAN and RS232 command set while in standby mode.

o

Note:

Sending an OFF command via Keypad, IR, CEC, RS232 or LAN will

bypass Wake On Signal detection.

o

Note:

If Failover detection has been enabled, the unit will automatically search

for a signal on other inputs before entering standby.

Always On:

This is the fast startup mode. An OFF command sent via Keypad, IR, CEC,

RS232 or LAN will place the unit into a standby mode that enables the fast startup. This
mode supports the full LAN and RS232 command set while in standby mode.

Note:

Startup time can be reduced by performing one of the following actions:

o

Disable the splash screen (see page 50)

o

Select one of the following Power Save Mode settings: Wake on Signal, Always

On. These modes will forcibly set the splash screen to Off
