Place a CD on the center spindle,
with the printed label side facing
up. Close the CD compartment
door.

Press the POWER button ❶ to
turn the unit on, the display will
light. Set the VOLUME control ❷
to a low setting.

Press the CD Door OPEN/Close
area to open the CD compartment
door.

Press the FUNCTION button to
select CD; CD will appear in the
display.

The CD player will read the table of
contents on the disc and the total
number of tracks and playing time of
the disc will appear on the CD Display.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (❿ )
button t o b e g i n p l a y b a c k o n
track 1.

Adjust the VOLUME ❶ and BBS
❷ as desired.
Playback will continue until all the
tracks on the disc have been
played.

To stop playback before the disc
ends, press the STOP (■) button.

After the last track has been played,
the disc stops automatically and the
display shows the total number of
tracks on the disc. If you are finished
listening, press the CD Door
OPEN/Close area ❶ to open the CD
Compart-ment door. Remove your
disc, close the CD Compartment
door and press the POWER button
❷ to turn the unit off.

PLAYING COMPACT DISCS

NORMAL PLAYBACK

NOTES:
• This unit is capable of playing standard CDs or 3” singles; no adapter is required.

• If a disc is inserted incorrectly, dirty, damaged or not present at all, “

” will appear in the display.

• To prevent damage to the disc, never open the CD door while the disc is rotating. Wait for the disc to

stop before opening the CD door. Never touch the lens when the CD compartment door is open.
