How to operate the Memory Stick player
Formatting MG Memory Stick (quick format)
Press the [FUNC] button for less than one second. 1
Turn the [SEL] button to select MS. 2
MG memory stick can be formatted.
Press the [SEL] button. 3
The Memory Stick setting mode is activated.
The function mode is activated.
Turn the [SEL] button to select FORMAT. 4
Press the [SEL] button. 5
The format mode is activated, then [OK] message will appear.
Press the [SEL] button for more than two seconds. 6
MG Memory Stick will be formatted.
Press the [RTN] button. 8
At this time, other adjustments can also be made in function mode.
Press the [FUNC] or [RTN] button to exit function mode. 9
ATTENTION
•Do not turn ON/OFF the power or the ignition switch while formatting.
The formatting will be interrupted and the data may be damaged.
•When a Memory Stick is formatted, all data on that Memory
Stick will be erased. (Included Memory Stick security recorded
data and sound quality data)
•New MG Memory Stick may not be used without formatting. In
that case, format (quick format) the stick on this deck so music
can be recorded (Hi-Fi directory format). The Memory Stick
formatted on a deck other than exclusive MG Memory Stick
deck may not be usable on this deck.
