To listen to non-preset radio stations
Use manual or automatic tuning in step 2.
For manual tuning, press TUNING ( or ) repeatedly.
For automatic tuning, press and hold TUNING ( or ) until
the frequency indicator starts to change automatically, then
release the button.

If an FM program is noisy
Press MONO/STEREO button on the remote control so that
"MONO" appears on the front panel display. There will be no
stereo effect, but the reception will improve. Press the button
again to restore the stereo effect.

To improve reception
Reorient the supplied antennas.

If other audio component(s) are connected to this system (see
page 14), you can hear the external source through the
speakers of this system.

1 Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until "AUX1" or "AUX2"

appears on the front panel display.
You can also press the AUX button to select the desired
external source directly.

2 Operate the unit which is connected to this system.

3 Adjust the volume level by pressing the ADJ/VOL + or -.

This system has a built in Dolby Pro Logic decoder, so you
can enjoy the live sound in Dolby Surround. For details,
see "Selecting Listening Modes" on page 44.
