Remove the three 6 mm bolts from the exhaust pipe protector
and remove the exhaust pipe protector.
Remove the two 6 mm bolts from the lower shroud and
remove the lower shroud.
Remove the six 6 mm bolts from the lower muffler protector
and remove the lower muffler protector.
Use a brush to remove carbon
deposits from the spark arrester
screen. Be careful not to damage
the screen. Replace the spark
arrester if it has breaks or holes.
Install the spark arrester to the
muffler.
Install the muffler protector and air cleaner in the reverse order
of disassembly.
Install the exhaust pipe protector, lower shroud, lower muffler
protector and muffler in the reverse order of disassembly.
If the fuse is blown, the battery cannot be charged.
Remove the fuse cover and
pull the fuse out.
Replace the fuse with a fuse
of the same type and rating.
Never use a fuse with different
rating from that specified.
Serious damage to the electrical
system or fire may result.
Install the fuse cover.
Loosen the two 6 16 mm bolt washers and 10 35 mm
flange bolt to make the clearance for 6 mm bolts removing,
then slide the muffler stay as shown.
Remove the three 6 mm bolts from the muffler protector and
slide the muffler protector to upside.
Remove the 5 8 mm screw from the spark arrester and
remove the spark arrester from the muffler.
