Setting Up Push Internet

Set up Push Internet on the Internet tab so that you can have frequently visited Web pages preloaded and
ready for display on Opera Mobile anytime.

Adding a Push Web Page

You can add up to four push Web pages for quick access on the Internet tab.

1.

On the Internet tab, touch

Add a new push page

.

2.

On the New Push Page screen, you can select a bookmark and add it as a push page, or you can enter
a title name and the address (URL) of a desired website.

3.

From the

Frequency

choices, select a time interval for automatically updating the push page, and then

touch

Save

.

Push Internet Settings

Set your device to automatically update your push Web pages on the Internet tab to ensure that you are
browsing the most recent information that is available on your favorite websites. The updated push pages
are cached in the device memory so that they load faster in Opera Mobile.

To change the auto update time for your push Web pages:

1.

On the Internet tab, touch

Menu > Schedule Settings

.

2.

Under

Day and Time

, select the day or days you want to auto update your push Web pages, and then

specify the update time.

3.

Scroll down the screen to the

Frequency

section, and then touch the update time below each of your push

Web pages to set the time interval for automatic updates.

4.

Tap

Done

to return to the Internet tab.

To enable or disable Push Internet:

1.

On the Internet tab, touch

Menu > Data Settings

.

2.

Touch the OFF/ON slider to enable or disable the following options:

Push Internet

. Enable (default) or disable Push Internet.

Roaming

. Enable this option if you want to update your push Web pages and bookmarks even when

you are roaming. This may incur additional data charges. This option is disabled by default.
