When servicing the vacuum, use only identical replacement parts. follow
instructions in the “Inspection, Maintenance, And Cleaning”
section of this
manual.
Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow maintenance instructions
may create a risk of electric shock or injury.

sPecific safety rules

for Household use only. This product is not to be used for any industrial applica-
tions.

for use indoors only. This product is not suited for use outdoors.

always install float (15) before any wet vacuuming operation. The Float pre-
vents contact between the fluids and electrical parts.

maintain labels and nameplates on the vacuum. These carry important informa-
tion. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.

maintain a safe working environment. Make sure there is adequate surrounding
workspace.

avoid unintentional starting. Make sure you are prepared to begin work before
turning on the Vacuum.

always keep the extension cord away from moving parts on the vacuum.

People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) before use. Elec-
tromagnetic fields in close proximity to heart pacemaker could cause pacemaker
interference or pacemaker failure.

never lay the vacuum Hose suction end down until the vacuum has come
to a complete stop.
Suction can grab surrounding objects and create a safety
hazard.

never leave the vacuum unattended when it is plugged into an electrical outlet.
Turn off the Vacuum, and unplug it from its electrical outlet before leaving.

do not use the vacuum for hazardous products. Never use this product to
vacuum liquids such as fuel, oil, acids or any hazardous chemical. Do not use this
product to vacuum ashes, items that may be hot, or chemical powders.
