The Clock must be adjusted before you can use the DAY/NIGHT
TIMER feature.

Use the CURSOR PAD 1. , , , to highlight and setup the
TIME ZONE settings.
If you observe daylight savings, use the CURSOR PAD to 2.
highlight the DAYLIGHT SAVING CORRECTION checkbox
and press the SELECT button to activate it.
Use the CURSOR PAD 3. , , , to highlight and setup the
CURRENT TIME (hour and minute), AM or PM, MONTH, DAY,
and YEAR.
Use the CURSOR PAD 4. , to adjust settings.
Press the SELECT button to set the TIME AND DATE. 5.
Press EXIT to quit the menu or select SET THE CLOCK to 6.
return to the previous menu.
When AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST CLOCK FOR •
DAYLIGHT SAVING CHANGES is checked ü, the
TV will automatically calculate the clock adjustment
for Daylight Saving.
The TV counts electrical pulses for regulating the •
TIMERS. When the power cord is unplugged in
quickly, the clock is stopped momentarily and the
TIME indication will become slow.
The Set The Clock submenu will be unavailable •
(grayed out) when TV Guide On Screen™ is set up
(refer to page 37).
Set Sleep Timer
Select this feature to set your SLEEP TIMER from 30 minutes to 3
hours (30 minute increments).

Press the CURSOR PAD 7. repeatedly to set your Timer from
0:00, 0:30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30 and 3:00.
The Sleep Timer info will show for 1 minute before
the TV turns off.
Set Day/Night Timer
Select this feature to activate and set your TV’s DAY/NIGHT
PICTURE MODE automatically. This feature is not available until
the clock is set.

Use the CURSOR PAD to highlight SET DAY/NIGHT TIMER 1.

and set it’s TIMER.
Use the CURSOR PAD 3. , or to select DYNAMIC MODE
ON and set it’s TIMER.
Use the CURSOR PAD 4. , or to select NIGHT MODE ON
and set it’s TIMER.
Press EXIT to quit the menu or select SET DAY/ NIGHT TIMER 5.
