One bin per media

There are two modes: One Bin and Mixed.

One Bin Mode

When enabled, the BD burner, burns the content from one bin on each media. This can be
used to separate content from different Users or projects to different media.

Mixed Mode

It is possible to create a disc with content from multiple bins, if the burn schedule is set to
00:00h and the

one bin per media

is not set.

To start the mixed mode burn, the User clicks

Create media now

in the bin, with this

button only the content from this bin is burned to a media, even the function is activated on
several bin´s. Then at 00:00 the ProxSys MA will burn all the remaining content and
optimize to use minimal media to burn.

Media size

Select the type of storage media and capacity from the dropdown list.

Work directory

Located in the MA server’s Windows OS, this directory is where the ISO files used for
burning discs are created and saved. This directory is shared with

ProxSysMA Services

.

Burn fill ratio (MA-50 only)

This setting triggers the automated burning of discs. The ratio is size of content to capacity of
selected media type.

Example

If Blu-ray DL (double layer) discs are used, each disc has a capacity of 50GB. Setting the

Burn Fill Ratio

to

90%

means that there must be 45GB of content loaded in the bin before

the automated burn begins.

Minimum fill ratio (MA-50 only)

This setting specifies the minimum size of content required to trigger a disc burn. The ratio is
the size of content to capacity of selected media type.

Delete files after ISO creation

Enable this option to delete all local files, i.e. high-resolution content and metadata files, after
successful creation of the ISO file.

Creation of the ISO file will not start for a queued bin until all of its preview files have been
rendered.
