Modem Software Setup for Windows XP
Follow Procedure 2-5 to set up the software for Windows XP.
Note: You must not connect the modem to the computer until the procedure tells you.
Follow Procedure 2-9 on page 2-35 if the modem has been connected to the computer.
Procedure 2-5: Software Setup for Windows XP
1. Start your computer and allow Windows to start-up.
2. Insert the Installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.
• If the CD self starts go to Step 3.
• If the CD doesn’t automatically start, go to Windows Explorer -> CD-ROM Drive ->
SETUP.EXE to run the setup program.
3. A “Welcome” message appears. Click Next.
