This function sets the product ID of the scanner. Usually, you need not change this setting.
NOTE
You cannot use this function when the setup mode is brought by pressing
MENU
in the Ready
status.

* The model number of this scanner is Fi-4990C.
The following is an example of operation when you use this function.
1. In <<SETUP MODE>> initial screen, press
ENTER .
The <<SETUP MODE>> menu screen (Paper
Length Check) appears.
2. Press repeatedly until “Product ID”
appears in the lower line of the menu screen.
3. Press
ENTER
.
The option select screen appears with the
current setting Fi-4990C blinking (blinking
indicates “changeable”).
4. Press or .
The displayed option changes (M3099G or
M4099DC blinks).
5. When the desired option appears, press
ENTER
to save the change.
The LCD returns to the <<SETUP MODE>>
menu screen (Product ID).
