1.2.4 Expansion Card
The following describes the available expansion card options.
The optional expansion card is installed in the expansion slot on the port side of the switch. The following details the
functions/behaviors of each type of expansion card.
SFP+ Expansion Card
• SFP+ Link/Act LEDs Indicated the link status / communication status of the SFP+ Slots.
• SFP+ Slots Installing an SFP+ module in either SFP+ slot will allow connection to a 10GBASE-SR
or 10GBASE-LR optical cable.
LED Display Content
LED Name State Status
SFP+ Link/Act Green Link is established with SFP+
Green Blinking 10GBASE SFP+ data traffic activity
Off Link is not established
