Connecting to a PC

By connecting the camera to a PC, your system can be expanded to fill a wide range of uses. Using
“FinePixViewer” performs images saving, browsing and file management etc.

If the power cuts out during data transmission, the data will
not be transmitted correctly. Always use the AC power
adapter when connecting the camera to a PC.

A Insert the xD-Picture Card with images into the

camera (

➝p.18).

• Do not format the xD-Picture Card in the camera on the

PC.

• Use the xD-Picture Card with images taken by a

FUJIFILM Digital camera.

B Press w for about 1 second to

turn the camera on in Playback
mode.

C Press MENU/OK to display the

SET-UP menu.
Refer to “Using the SET-UP
menu” (

➝p.70).

Install the software first. Do
not connect the camera to
the PC before installing all

D Select @ DSC in L USB

E Press POWER to turn the

camera off.

F Turn your PC on.

G Connect the camera to your PC using the USB cable

(mini-B).

H Press w for about 1 second to

turn the camera on in Playback
mode.
