• Roll media generally comes with externally wound specifica-
tions in which the front surface of the media is on the outside,
or internally wound specifications in which the front surface of
the media is on the inside. Roll media specified by Mutoh is
wound to external specifications in order to give effect to the
printing. Please use media specified by Mutoh.
Step 6 Mounting the scroller on the printer
Attach the scroller, with roll media loaded, to the scroller receiver. Hold the
fixed flange side with your left hand,insert the left side into the scroller support
from the inside and press the right side from above.
Step 7
Remove the tape from the roll media and unroll a length of roll media. From
the rear, insert the end of the roll media between the pressure roller and the
drive roller, being careful that the end of the roll media does not catch on the
media keeper blade, and let it hang down at the front.
