Temperature T with Pt100/1000 Sensor (feature F01)

Connection

Temperature can be measured within a range of –200

°C to +850 °C with

a Pt100 or Pt1000 sensor (default setting) connected to the PE (1) and N
(2) jacks.

Select the

Temp

measurement and start.

Select Pt100 or Pt1000 by means of
“select measuring range” with the

key. The temperature unit of measure
can be selected in the “TEMPERATURE”

setup menu. Selection can be made
amongst

°C (Celsius), °F (Fahrenheit) or

Kelvin. Zero balancing is also accessible
via the “TEMPERATURE” setup menu.

Zero Balancing

Sensor cable resistance can be compensated with this function:
➭ Short circuit the ends of the sensor leads and determine resistance as

shown below.

The determined value can be stored
directly (

key) or changed first. The

data entry menu is opened with the

key.
➭ Change the measured value

manually with the help of the

and

keys.

➭ Press the

key in order to

acknowledge the selected value, and to display other menu functions
at the bottom of the window.

Save the selected value by activating the “store value” key

before

exiting the balancing function with the

key

.

The “delete value” command can only be accessed via the “change value”
menu. The “no zero balancing” setting is saved at the same time by
activating the

key.
