3. Assembly
WARNING: Stop the unit and unplug the extension cord before opening the
inlet cover or attempting to install or remove the blower tube or vacuum tubes.
Themotormustbestoppedandtheimpellerbladesnolongerturningtoavoid
seriousinjuryfromtherotatingblades.
Fittingtheblowertube:
2 3 1
1.Alignthegroovesontheblowertube 1 withthegroovesonthe
bloweroutlet 2 .
2.Pushtheblowertubeontothebloweroutletuntilitsnapsinto
place;tubeissecuredtoblowerbytubereleasebutton 3 .
3.Toremovetheblowertube,pressthetubereleasebutton 3 
whilepullingontube.
NOTE: Asafetyswitchwillpreventtheunitfromstartingifthe
blowertubeisnotinstalledcorrectly.
Fittingthevacuumtubes:

1.Opentheinletcover 4 byreleasingthelatch 5 asshown
andpullinguponthevacuumassisthandle 6 .
2.Allowlatchtosnapintorearhandleofblower 7 .
Ensuremainscable 8 remainsfree.

NOTE:Thereare2vacuumtubes,anuppertube 9 andalower
tube 0 .
Theuppertubehasahingeandhooksononeendandiscut
straightonbothends.Theuppertubeattachestotheblowerunit.
Thelowertubehasacurvedendthatyoupointtowardtheground
duringvacuumuse.Thelowertubeattachestotheuppertube.
3.Toattachthelowervacuumtube
0 totheuppervacuum
tube 9 ,firstaligntheseamsofthetwotubes.
Then,pressthetwotubestogetheruntilthelowertubeis
fullyseatedintheuppertube.

4.Placethehinge w oftheuppertubeintothehook q onthe
bottomsideoftheunit.
5.Usingthegroundforsupport e ,pivottheblowerunituntil
tubesnapsintothelatchesoftheretainingposts r onthe
blowerunit.
NOTE:Asafetyswitchwillpreventthe
unitfromstartingifthevacuumtubesare
notinstalledcorrectly. e
