5. Storage
Storage: Store unit unplugged, well out of the reach of children.
1.Stopunitanddisconnectfromthemainselectricitysupply.
2.Allowmotortocoolbeforestoringortransporting.
3.Storeunitwithallguardsinplace.Positionunitsothatany
sharpobjectcannotaccidentallycauseinjury.
Extendedstorage: Prepareunitforstorageattheendoftheseasonorifitwillnot
beusedfor30daysormore.
Ifyourbloweristobestoredforaperiodoftime:
1.Stopunitanddisconnectfromthemainselectricitysupply.
2.Cleantheentireunitbeforelengthystorage.
3.Openinletcoverandcleananydirt,grass,ordebristhat
hascollected.Inspecttheblowerandalltubes.
Closeandmakesurethecoverislatched.
4.Useasoftbrushtocleanairventsandairinletofdebris.
Donotusewater.
5.Storeyourunitandextensioncordinawellventilatedareaand
covered,ifpossible,topreventdustanddirtaccumulation.
Donotcoverwithplastic.Plasticcannotbreatheandmaycause
condensationandeventualrustorcorrosion.
6.Checkentireunitforloosescrews.
Replaceanydamaged,worn,orbrokenparts.
7.Removetube(s)foreasierstorage.
Disposal:
(inaccordancewith
EU-directive2002/96/EC)
Thisproductmustnotbeaddedtonormalhouseholdwaste.
Itmustbedisposedofinlinewithlocalenvironmentalregulations.
6. Maintenance
WARNING: Stop the unit and disconnect the plug from the power source
before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or performing
maintenance.
Suchpreventivesafetymeasuresreducetheriskofstartingthepowertool
accidentally.
BEFORE EACH USE
Checkforloosefasteners
andparts:
Keepallnuts,boltsandscrewstighttobesuretheproductis
inasafeworkingcondition.Besureallpartsareassembled
properly.

•CollectionBag
Checkfordamagedor
wornparts:
Contactyourauthorizedservicedealerforreplacementof
damagedorwornparts.
•ON/OFFSwitch–Ensureswitchfunctionsproperlybymoving
theswitchtotheOFFposition.Makesuremotorstops;
thenrestartmotorandcontinue.
•InletCover–Discontinueuseofunitifinletcoverfailstolatch
properlyorifitisdamagedinanyway.
AFTER EACH USE
Inspectandcleanunit
andlabels:
•Aftereachuse,inspectcompleteunitforlooseordamaged
parts.Cleantheunitusingadampcloth.
•Wipeoffunitwithacleandrycloth.
Cleancollectionbag: IMPORTANT: THECOLLECTIONBAGMUSTBEPROPERLY
EMPTIED.
•Youmustproperlyemptyandmaintainthecollectionbagto
avoiddeteriorationandobstructionofairflow.
•Removethecollectionbagfromtheunitandemptyaftereach
use.Donotstorebagwithoutemptyingthebagofallcontents
(grass,leaves,etc.).
•Washthebagonceayear.Removethebagfromtheblower
andturnthebaginsideout.Washthebagwithawaterhose.
Allowthebagtohanganddrycompletelybeforeyoureuse
thebag.
