Connect the lap belt to the shoulder
belt by placing the locking clip on the
belts about ½ inch from the latchplate
as shown

Re-buckle the belt and pull hard on
the lap belt to be sure it does not move.

Repeat this procedure if the lap belt
is loose or lengthens when pulled.

If you are using the base, make sure that there
is nothing on top of or in the base that may interfere
with attachment of the safety seat. Then push the
safety seat down into the base and make sure that
you hear a “click”

. Pull up
on the safety seat to
be sure it is latched securely into the base.
If the safety seat does not securely latch into the
base, the safety seat provides NO protection for
your child. DO NOT use the safety seat/base if
the safety seat does not securely latch into
the base.
