Ensure that the water reservoir is full.

Ensure that the water reservoir is properly fitted into position.

Ensure that the filter holder is properly fitted into the holding ring.
. Do not tamp the espresso ground coffee down so firmly.
. Move the steam control knob to the ‘0’ setting.

Clean the filter basket.

Delime the appliance.
. ..the machine Is relatively noisy when operating

Ensure that the fresh water reservoir is full.

Ensure that the fresh water reservoir is properly fitted into position.
. ..lt is difficult to achieve crema
l
Always use fresh espresso ground coffee.
l
Ensure there is sufficient espresso ground coffee in the basket.
l
Tamp the espresso ground coffee down lightly.
. ..not enough foam Is generated when frothing milk
l
Always use cool, fresh skim or low-fat milk.
l
Use a suitable frothing pitcher.
l
Clean the foam tube nozzle.
