How to PROGRAM tracks
Track sequence can be programmed for playback
or recording. From stop in CHANGER or DUAL
MODE, push and release the PROG button to
enter Program mode.

"PROGRAM" (a) will be displayed briefly, then
PROGRAM (b) will be flashing.

Turn the REC LEVEL/SELECT control to select
the Track to be programmed. When correct push
the REC LEVEL/SELECT control to add that
track to the program.

In the example tracks on the CDR drive (a) are
being programmed. Five steps have been pro-
grammed (b): tracks 4, 6, 9, 11, and 12 (c) (not
necessarily in that order). Track 14 (d and e) is
selected. If Track 14 is added to the program as
step 6, the TOTAL time programmed (f) will be 24
minutes and 57 seconds.

When your program is done, press a Stop button
or the PROG button to end programming. PRO-
GRAM will be lit and steady.

Press Play/Pause

to start programmed play.

Clearing a program:
Press Stop to stop programmed play, then
press Stop again to clear the program.

To edit a program:
From Stop mode, press PROG to enter Program
mode.

Add a track to the program as above.
To erase a track from the program, turn the REC
LEVEL / SELECT control to select the track,
then press the CANCL / DELETE button. The
remaining program steps and playing time will
be displayed.

To program for recording:
Only tracks from the CD in the CD drive can be
programmed for recording.
Press the REC MODE button and select your
recording mode. Then program tracks as above.
When done, press the Record button to start
recording.

Notes:
To review a program, with PROGRAM flashing,
press the ALBUM reverse

or ALBUM

forward

button to tab through the program.

The display will show the track number pro-
grammed, the time contributed by that track to
the total programmed time, and the program
step.

A track can be programmed more than once.

In CHANGER Mode the program can switch
between the CD drive and CDR drive.

If you try to store more than 99 steps, "PROG
FULL" appears on the display.
