With the power off, press the

REPEAT/CLOCK button 1 and

then press the STOP ()/TIME

SET/ POWER OFF button 2

within 5 seconds to enter the

Timer ON setting mode; “TIMER”

will appear and the hour will blink

on the display.

SEARCH/TIME o 1

to set the timer On hour and then

press the STOP ()/TIME SET/

POWER OFF button 3 again; the

minutes will blink.

Press the ALARM/MODE/MEM+

button to select the desired wake

up function (CD or RADIO). Make

sure to insert a CD or tune a

station as desired before turning

the unit off.

Press the TIME/TUNING/SKIP/SEARCH o 1 or n 2 button to set the

timer On minute and then press the STOP ()/TIME SET/POWER

OFF button 3 again; the timer will then be set. When the actual time

matches the Timer’s On time, the unit will turn on to the function

selected in Step 2. To turn off the timer, press the EQ/TIMER button 4;

the unit will turn off.

SETTING THE TIMER

Set the timer to turn the unit on and off to the Tuner or CD mode at a preset time as follows:

TO ACTIVATE THE TIMER ON MODE, with the unit off, press the EQ/TIMER button; “TIMER” will appear in

the display next to the current time. To cancel, press the EQ/TIMER button again; “TIMER” will disappear in

the display.

NOTES:

• Before activating the timer, make sure the unit is in the Standby mode. Otherwise, there will not be sound

when the Timer’s On time is reached.

• Before activating the timer, make sure there is a disc inside the CD compartment when waking to a CD,

or make sure a AM/FM station is tuned before turning off the unit. Otherwise, there will not be sound

when the Timer’s On time is reached.

• When TIMER On time is reached, the unit will turn on for CD or Radio for 1 hour then turn off. If the CD

disc total tracks is below 1 hour, then the unit will playback all the tracks on the CD and then stop.
