Press Setup in the stop mode to display the menus.

Press to select “RECORD / DISC” then press .

Press to select “Finalise” then press to confi rm.

Select “Confi rm” to fi nalise.

With DVD+R discs the fi nalization function only works once.
•
This command may not be paused or cancelled.
•
You can also fi nalise the disc by using the “Edit“ function. For details please
refer to Chapter 4-4: Editing on page 50.

Finalise Setting
1 Press Setup in the stop mode to display the menus.
2 Press to select “RECORD / DISC” then press .
3 Press to select “Make Compatible”, and then press .
4 Select “Confi rm” to make compatible.
If you do not make your DVD+RW compatible, you can only play back your
disc in this DVD Recorder.
