Erase Setting

Press Setup in the stop mode to display the menus.

Press to select “RECORD/DISC”, and then press .

Press to select “Erase”, and then press .

Select “Confi rm” to erase.

This command may not be paused or cancelled.
•
When Finalization and Erasing begin, all REC functions are locked. Please do
not turn off the power at this time in case of loss of information.
-To return to the Setup MENU screen

Setup to exit from Setup MENU screen.
Protect Disc Setting

Press Setup in the stop mode to display the menus.

Press to select “RECORD/DISC”, and then press .

Press to select “Protect Disc”, and then press .

Select “Confi rm” to Protect Disc.
•
After the Disc is Protected, the “Erase“ and “Make Compatible” functions will
become disabled.
