DO’S AND DON’TS

DO…

¾ Have propane cylinder (LP Units) filled by

an authorized LP supplier.

¾ Check all gas connections for leaks using

a soapy water solution before lighting,
tighten connections until the bubbles
disappear.

¾ Always open the hood before lighting.
¾ Pre heat the grills before using.
¾ After cooking, turn the grill OFF, then take

a long handled soft wire brush and brush
off the cooking grills, then turn off the gas
at the main fuel supply.

¾ Cook with the hood down when possible.

It is faster and more efficient. Trapped

¾ Have proper tools. Tongs, mittens ready

prior to removing food.

sides and back to any combustible
materials.

¾ Attempt to adjust the Regulator, it has

been factory set and tested.

Keep in an upright position.

¾ Turn a control valve on before the igniter

button has been depressed.

¾ Use plastic or un-tempered glass utensils

on or in the grill.

¾ Attempt to move an Aluminum foil pan

while it is still hot.

¾ Cover or block any air opening.
¾ Place aluminum foil in the grease pan to

catch the drippings.

¾ Wear long, loose flowing clothing around

the grill. Long flowing hair is also easily
ignited.

¾ Put food on the grill and leave it

unattended or unwatched for long periods
of time.

¾ Use CAUSTIC materials to clean the grill.
