Before shooting

Setting the switches for white balance adjustment

To ensure a clear picture with correct colour tones, the
back focus and white balance must be adjusted prior to
shooting.
Check your connections before making any adjust-
ments. With a monitor connected, set the camera
control unit's switches as shown below.

When setting is complete, shoot a test subject.
Adjust the lens focus and check the picture on the
monitor.

White balance must be adjusted beforehand each
time you shoot.

Back focus adjustment

To adjust the back focus, refer to the instruction manual
provided with the lens you are using.

Back focus adjustment is required only when the
lens is installed. No further adjustment is necessary.

Be sure to check the colour tone of the monitor using the
BAR signal before adjusting white balance.
If the monitor’s colour tone is incorrect, it may not be
possible to accurately adjust the white balance.
