Repeat Playback

START REPEAT

1

Press and hold PLAY (until "PLAY" blinks on the front
display panel) during playback, then release.

● The entire tape is played back 20 times.

STOP REPEAT

To stop, press STOP at any time.

NOTE:

Pressing PLAY, REW, FF, PAUSE or TIME SCAN

also stops Repeat Playback.

RESET COUNTER TO ZERO

Press C.RESET.

NOTE:

By pressing the DISPLAY button, you can change the
display to show the counter reading, channel number
or clock time. (Channel number is not displayed during
playback.)

Counter Memory

When REW or FF is pressed, with the Counter Memory
activated, the tape will return to the counter position "zero".

ACTIVATE COUNTER

MEMORY

Press C.RESET during playback at a point you want to have
quick access to later. The counter reads “0H 00M 00S”.

Then press C.MEMORY. The Counter Memory indicator
("M") in the front display panel lights.

RETURN TO COUNTER

POSITION ZERO

Press STOP (during playback), then press REW or FF.
The tape rewinds or fast-forwards and stops at approxi-
mately “0H 00M 00S” automatically.

● To cancel Counter Memory, press C.MEMORY.

Counter Reset

Next-Function Memory

The Next Function Memory “tells” the VCR what to do after
rewinding. * Before continuing, ensure that the VCR is in stop
mode.
a– For Automatic Start Of Playback After Tape Rewind . . .
. . . press REW, then press PLAY within 2 seconds.
b– For Automatic Power Off After Tape Rewind . . .
. . . press REW, then press POWER within 2 seconds.
c– For Automatic Timer Standby After Tape Rewind . . .
. . . press REW, then press TIMER within 2 seconds.

NOTE:

If you want the "next function" to automatically start when the
counter reads "0H 00M 00S" (instead of at the beginning of
the tape), press C. MEMORY so that the counter memory
indicator appears on the front display panel before pressing
REW.

It is not possible to select the Automatic Timer functions if the
cassette's record safety tab is removed.
