Initializing JLIP Devices

Select Preferences — JLIP Devices.
Select the serial port to which the device
is connected and click Scan.

Select the player to be used by clicking
on it in the listbox and then click Select.
•You do not need to perform the
operation in step 2 when only one
player is connected.

Select the recorder deck to be used by
clicking on it in the listbox and then
click Select.
•Select Use Edit Terminal on the screen
when using a JVC Video deck that has a
remote pause terminal but no JLIP
terminal or a deck from another
manufacturer.

Click OK.
