Paper and ink ribbon
For detailed information on how to install the ink ribbon
and paper, see “Loading the Paper and Ink Ribbon” on
page 9. DIP Switch Settings
Set the SCSI ID with the DIP switches on the side panel.
The DIP switches are set as follows when shipped from
the factory.
Terminator ON/OFF Setting
When the printer is connected as the terminating device
on the SCSI bus, set the terminator to the ON position.
Otherwise, set it to the OFF position.
SCSI ID Setting
Set the printer SCSI ID so that it is different from all
other devices on the SCSI bus.
If two devices have the same SCSI ID, malfunctions
may result.
The SCSI ID is set to 1 as the factory setting.
