Displaying the Title of the

Currently Played MD or
Track Manually

Press the

DSPL

button until the desired

display appears on the display window.

If these data are not prerecorded on the

currently played MD, “NO D.name” or “NO
T.name” will appear for one second.

If the title is too long, you can scroll it across

the display window by pressing the

SENS

SCRL/BTM

button momentarily.

Displaying the Recording

Date of the Currently
Selected MD

Press the

SENS

SCRL/BTM

button for more than

two seconds during MD playback.

The recording date of the track will

be displayed for about three seconds.

This applies only if these titles are prerecorded

on the MD.

Locating the Beginnings

of the Tracks

— AMS (Automatic Music Sensor) Function

During playback, press either side of

the SEEK/AMS button the number of
times you wish to skip the tracks.

CD/MD Changer

With the CD changer and optional
MD changer connected

Playing a CD/MD

Press the

MD/CD

button.

CD/MD playback starts.

Each time you press the

DSPL

button

momentarily during CD/MD playback, the
display on the display window changes as
follows:

During CD playback:

Disc title*

Clock

If the title has not been registered on the CD changer
with the CD custom file function, “NO Name” will
appear on the display window.

During MD playback:

If there is no prerecorded title for MD, “NO D.name”
will appear on the display.

If the track title is not prerecorded, “NO T.name” will
appear on the display.

If the title is too long (more then 10 characters), it
will be scrolled automatically.
