Changing the power management settings using the PowerPanel Profiles
toolbar

You can change power management settings, such as the settings for the
System Suspend timer or the speed at which the CPU performs.

Click the

(atom) icon on the taskbar. The PowerPanel bar appears.

(If the bar does not appear, click the Start button and point to Tool
Center. Then point to Notebook Utility and select PowerPanel.)

Right-click the Profiles icon for the item you want to change, then
click Open. The Profile Manager starts.

Double-click the item you want to change. A list of settings appears
with a check mark indicating the current setting.

Click the desired setting.

Click the File menu, then click Save.

Click the File menu, then click Close. The Profile Manager closes and
the new setting is activated.
