Playing Discs
Using the click shuttle and the JOG button/indicator, you
can play back a DVD/CD/VIDEO CD at various speeds
or frame by frame. Each time you press JOG, it changes
between shuttle mode and jog mode.
To change the playback speed
(Shuttle mode)
Turn the click shuttle. The playback speed changes
depending on the turning direction and angle as follows:
When you play back a DVD
During playback
2M Fast for ward (about 30 times the nor mal speed)
Y
1M Fast for ward (about 10 times the nor mal speed)
Y
× 2B (about twice the normal speed)
Y
N (normal speed)
Y
× 2b (about twice the normal speed)
Y
1m Fast rewind (about 10 times the nor mal speed)
Y
2m Fast rewind (about 30 times the nor mal speed)
If you tur n the click shuttle quickly , the playback speed
goes to 2 M or 2m at once.

Playing Side B (FLIP)
You can play side B without ejecting the disc to turn it
over.
“Side B” is the side facing right when you insert the disc
into the slot.
While playing a disc, press FLIP.
While side B is being played,
appears on the TV.
z To return to side A
Press FLIP again.
Notes
• Playback does not continue fr om side A to side B.
• Side B contents ar e not played even if you select the ALL DISCS
mode.
• Program Play , Repeat Play , Bookmark, Disc Br owser ,
Custom Parental Contr ol or Shuf fle Play cannot be set
with side B contents.
• Playback Memor y settings ar e not ef fective for side B.
• When you flip the disc, Pr ogram Play, Repeat Play , and
Shuffle Play settings for side A ar e cancelled.
