SETTing UP THE OPTiOnS
This function allows you to setup the Options setting.
With the unit in Stop mode, press the MEnU button.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Setup, then press the OK button.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Options, then press the OK button.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select the desired options, then press
the OK button.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select the desired item, then press the
OK button.
Language
If you set the language options, in advance, they will come up automatically every time you watch a movie.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Language, then press the OK
button. Language setup menu will be displayed.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select the desired language option,
press the OK button.
OSD : For the on-screen menu of your DVD Recorder & VCR.
Disc Menu : For the disc menu contained on the disc.
audio : For the disc audio language.
Subtitle : For the disc subtitles.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select the desired language, then press the OK button.
If the selected language is not recorded on the disc, the original pre-recorded language is selected.
Setting up the Parental
The Parental function works in conjunction with DVDs that have been assigned a rating which helps you control the
types of DVDs that your family watches. There are up to 8 rating levels on a disc.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Parental, then press the OK
button.
When you operate your DVD Recorder & VCR for the first time,
the “Create the password” message will be displayed.
Enter the 4-digit password using the number buttons on the
remote control.
The “Confirm the password” message will be displayed. Enter
your password again.
Press the
RETURN button to return to the previous menu.
Press the
EXIT ( ) button to exit the menu.
