4. When you find a number you want to call, just extend the

mouthpiece to dial. If the mouthpiece is already extended,

press

or press the dial twice to call the number.

You can use the Options menu to view detailed information about

the call or to save the number to your phone book. When the Calls

List entry is displayed on your screen, press the dial to display the

Options menu, then:

Turn the dial to scroll to “Duration” then press the dial to see the

length of the call in minutes and seconds, or

Turn the dial to “Time/Date” then press the dial to see when the

call was made, or

Scroll to “View Number” and press the dial to see digits that

don’t fit on the screen, or

If you want to add the number to your internal phone book,

scroll to “Save” and press the dial.

Using the pause and link features to dial faster.

Pauses and links make automated phone systems and calling cards

easier to use by allowing you to store access codes or other numbers

as part of the phone book entry.

Hard Pauses

When dialing a stored number with a hard pause,

the phone will stop dialing when it reaches the

hard pause. Press the dial when you’re ready to

send the remaining numbers.

Timed Pauses

When dialing a stored number with a timed

pause, the phone will stop dialing and wait for

two seconds when it reaches the timed pause,

then dial the remaining numbers. Each additional

timed pause will add two more seconds to the

pause length.

Links

When dialing a stored number with a link, the

phone will stop dialing when it reaches the link.

When you press the dial, the phone will dial the

numbers you’ve stored in the linked memory

location. This feature is particularly handy if you
