Discs (Disc Explorer)
Displaying the Disc
Information
You can search for a disc by checking the
contents of all the discs loaded in the player
on your TV screen.

Hint
Slide the TV/DISC EXPLORER/DVD switch to
DISC EXPLORER beforehand to use the function
that is printed in blue on the remote.
Loading the disc information
Press LOAD when the player is in stop or
standby mode.
The player reads the disc information of all
the discs and loads it into memory so that the
disc type, titles and other text information can
be displayed.
To cancel loading
Press x.

Hint
The player can load the disc information even when
the power is in standby mode. Press LOAD before
turning on the player.
Viewing information about the
loaded discs
You can view the loaded discs using the Disc
Explorer.
The player has 8 folders (“ALL,” “VIDEO,”
“MUSIC,” “PHOTO,” user folder (
)
(subfolders “A” to “D”)) and can display the
contents of each folder.
All of the discs in the player are filed in the
“ALL” folder. At the same time, DVDs and
VIDEO CDs are automatically filed in the
“VIDEO” folder, Super Audio CDs, CDs,
DATA CDs (MP3) are filed in the “MUSIC”
folder, and DATA CDs (JPEG) are filed in
the “PHOTO” folder. You can file your discs
as you like in the “A” to “D” folders (page
46).

Slide the TV/DISC EXPLORER/DVD
switch to DISC EXPLORER, then press
FOLDER.
The Disc Explorer display appears. You
can select the folder with the disc you
want to play by pressing
C/c
.
