9.5 Resin regeneration (where
the water softener is
provided)
Resin regeneration is to be carried out according
to the water of the system to which the dispenser
is connected.
Use the table below as a reference:
The appropriate kits available on the market can
be used to check water hardness and therefore
the times and modes for intervention.
The operation can be carried out as follows:
- power the machine off
- turn the lower tap taking care to place the
related hose into a bucket or better into a drain
system (fig.63).
- remove the cover and introduce 1.5 kg salt
- refit the cover
- turn the machine on and drain the water until
it is no longer salty
- power the machine off and close the tap.
This operation takes about 30/45 minutes.
