You can set the recorder to record in 30-
minute increments.
For details, see page 56.

The recorder automatically receives and
records stereo and bilingual programmes.
For details, see page 57.

The recorder can automatically divide a
recording (a title) into chapters by inserting
chapter marks. To select chapter mark
intervals or disable this function, see “Auto
Chapter (HDD/VR),” “Auto Chapter
(Video),” or “Auto Chapter (DVD+R/
+RW)” in the “Recording” setup (page 127).
When recording to the HDD, a DVD-R (VR
mode) or a DVD-RW (VR mode), you can
edit chapter marks (page 78).

You can change or cancel timer settings
using the schedule list.

Press SYSTEM MENU.

The System Menu appears.

Select “Timer Recording,” and press
ENTER.

Select “Timer Recording,” and press
ENTER.

The schedule list appears.

Select the timer setting you want to
change using
m.

You can check the selected timer setting
highlighted in pink.
To change the setting, go to step 5.
If not changing the setting, go to step 8.
